"That word, “suicide,” that brings conversations to a halt and evokes primal fears of the darkest of all human experiences. But speaking the word itself is not the problem. The silence that so often follows is." Lisa Klein is a documentary filmmaker who made the afore mentioned statement in her blog entry featured on the American Association of Suicidology website. The truth of the statement is a testament to my own experiences when I use the S Word. There is always a silence that follows when I mention that Mothers of AAMM serves the women who have lost a son or have experienced their son's attempted suicide. The S Word Movie was created by Lisa and is informative in hope to help someone with breaking the silence about suicide. Please click the S Word Movie link to learn more.
